Refilwe Ledwaba joined LvA in October 2020. She holds an LLB degree from the University of Limpopo (2013). Prior to joining LvA, Refilwe worked with Lawyers for Human Rights, Musina, with a focus on refugees and asylum seekers, and interned for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development in the legal subdivision monitoring the implementation of the Domestic Violence Act and Protection from Harassment Act. Refilwe believes that the law can be used as a tool to ensure every person enjoys the rights enshrined in the Bill of Rights.
