Robyn Farrell joined LvA’s board in May 2024 with over 20 years’ experience as a senior insurance executive including her current role as the Chief Operating Officer at Old Mutual iWYZE. Prior to joining Old Mutual, Robyn served as the CEO of the non-life business at Telesure Investment Holdings (TIH) before moving to TransUnion. During her time at TIH, they launched the First for Women brand and established the First for Women Foundation shortly afterwards. The Foundation started supporting LvA in 2014 as part of its strategy to combat GBV. Robyn has served as a trustee of the Foundation since its inception and is now the Chairperson of the Foundation. Robyn is a lawyer by profession, completing a BCom LLB at Wits University and both a Higher Diploma in Labour Law and a Higher Diploma in Municipal Law at the University of Johannesburg.
